On Saturday, April 20, El Vínculo Hispano and El Centro Hispano, Inc. organized a pivotal community event by hosting the second Community ID drive at la Iglesia de Dios Lirio de Los Valles in Siler City.
Community ID days are crucial for people who currently do not have access to a U.S. government ID, including new immigrants and refugees, the homeless, the elderly, a person previously incarcerated, and anyone who believes in a diverse and inclusive community. These IDs can improve the daily lives of community members by facilitating access to essential services.
This was an incredible event, made possible by our partners, El Centro Hispano, Inc. , Iglesia de Dios Lirio De Los Valles, Chatham County Sheriff’s Office-NC, Siler City Police Department and our amazing team at El Vínculo Hispano / The Hispanic Liaison
Stay tuned for our next Faith ID Drive in 2024!
