The Hispanic Liaison would like to extend a huge thank you to the NC Department of Natural Resources and Cultures (@ncculture) for joining the Orgullo Latinx Pride (OLP) youth meetings in October and November!
The youth had an amazing time participating in activities led by Hugo, Alana, Clarisa, and Shafantae, who introduced them to Latine and Native American themes. It was inspiring for the group to learn more about their current roles and the incredible journeys they’ve taken as Latine professionals.
The Hispanic Liaison is grateful for the opportunity to connect with such passionate and dedicated individuals, who continue to pave the way for future generations.
