The Orgullo Latinx Pride youth program recently partnered with El Futuro to host an engaging presentation on substance use prevention for both parents and youth. Bringing families into the same conversation created a powerful space for honest dialogue, reinforcing the idea that prevention starts at home through awareness, communication, and support.
Participants explored the real effects of substance use through interactive, hands-on activities that made the learning experience both impactful and memorable. These experiences helped attendees better understand how substances affect the mind and body, while encouraging meaningful reflection across generations.
