[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We’re proud to have hosted another fabulous Hispanic Heritage Fiesta this year as we hosted Fiesta at Shakori Hills. It was our largest Fiesta to date! Over 5,000 people enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon with live music, food trucks, folkloric dances, games, and an Arts & Crafts Tent featuring art by Mario Salazar Talardi, and 93 booths from agencies, businesses, and artisans.
As it is our tradition, we hosted a gorgeous parade of traditional outfits and quinceañeras, with the special participation of the 10-foot-tall mojiganga (giant puppet) of Frida Kahlo, created by our beloved Elena Gonzalez and her husband Juan Carlos.
A huge thank you to our 39 generous Fiesta sponsors and the 162 volunteers who worked hard for months to organize this wonderful celebration for our community. Fiesta would not have been possible without their support! Many thanks to all of you who attended and supported our efforts by purchasing raffle tickets. Congratulations to all the raffle winners!
