DACA Renewal Process
DACA status is granted for two years. To maintain your protections, you should begin the renewal process 150 days before your DACA expires to avoid any lapse in status or work authorization.
Due to a high volume of biometric appointments, applicants may experience delays. We strongly encourage early filing.

USCIS will continue to accept initial requests but will not process initial DACA requests at this time. Current grants of DACA and related Employment Authorization Documents remain valid until they expire, unless individually terminated.
