Our goal is to empower directly impacted Latinxs in Chatham County to develop their leadership skills, identify issues of common concern and develop strategies to address these issues.

Through this program we: 

• Coordinate leadership, civic engagement, and know your rights trainings
• Develop rapid response strategies to address raids and deportations
• Offer case management for families impacted by raids or deportations
• Coordinate free legal clinics on immigration and powers of attorney
• Advocate with and for the Latinx community to advance immigrants’ rights in NC
• Work in coalition with other regional and statewide organizations
• Organize an annual Legal Fair in Siler City
• Engage in non-partisan GOTV efforts and voter education
• Keep our community informed about laws and policies that affect their lives
