Once again, our youth group Orgullo Latinx Pride participated in the Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs’ annual long-sleeve drive during Farmworkers awareness week!

Our youth collected 114 shirts that were donated to the families who work so hard harvesting the fruits and vegetables that we put on our plates.

We hope that this small donation of gently worn and new long-sleeve shirts will help farmworkers protect themselves from the sun and pesticides while working in our fields. We are grateful to be able to give back in appreciation for their hard work!
