On Friday, February 17th our Orgullo Latinx Pride youth group had the opportunity to do community service with Piedmont Farm Animal Shelter. Despite the fact that the weather was cold and rainy, that did not prevent our youth from helping and collaborating in teams to carry out the activities that had to be completed that day. Our youth collaborated together to move wood, remove weeds from a path, and remove thistles near fruit trees. We want to thank Piedmont Farm Animal Shelter for allowing us to help and see the animals. We also want to thank Sra. Nancy for making yummy hot chocolate!
