Orgullo Latinx Pride started 2023 off right with a volunteer work day! Today, some of our youth members from Jordan Matthews and Seaforth helped Chatham Habitat for Humanity build house #145 for a wonderful person from Siler City!
Our day included:
nailing on plywood & insulation around the house nailing 2x4s together to build the walls of the rooms
Learning what a king & jack combination are, how to make sure a wall is “plum”, what a return is, and so much more!We are happy to help house #145 get a step closer to finishing!
We will be back in February to see how we can help more!
