DACA SCHOLARSHIPS

In December 2020, a federal judge ordered DHS to fully reinstate DACA to its 2012 original form. This means that DHS must allow first-time DACA requests as well as 2-year renewal applications.

The Liaison is offering PARTIAL DACA SCHOLARSHIPS to help new or renewing applicants cover the $495 USCIS application fee. This scholarship is available only for residents of Chatham, Lee, Randolph and Alamance counties. Funds will be awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis.

If you have any questions or need help, contact Maria Gomez Flores at 919-742-1448 or maria(at)evhnc.org

IF YOU HAVE A DACA PERMIT – we recommend that you renew your DACA 6-months before it expires.

IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR THE FIRST TIME – we recommend that you consult with an immigration attorney or DOJ accredited representative (also known as BIA clinics) to find out if you’re eligible.
