Two youth members from Orgullo Latinx Pride named JMArts Scholars!
We want to highlight and congratulate two of our phenominal Orgullo Latinx Pride youth members, Jocelyn Lopez Mejia and Suzette Campos Herrera, on being named JMArts Scholars by the Jordan-Matthews Arts Foundation.
Jocelyn Lopez Mejia
A rising senior, will attend the UNC Greensboro Summer Arts and Design Intensive, being offered virtually this year. She has studied through Art III Honors and was recipient of JM’s 2019 Young Artist Award.
Suzette Campos Herrera
A rising junior, will be studying voice with vocal music teacher and choral director Matt Fry. She has completed two courses in Music Specialization.
