A huge thank you to the 615 individuals, foundations, organizations and churches who contributed to the Chatham Solidarity Fund! Your generosity was a source of relief and solace to hundreds in our community.

From April 2020 to date, the Chatham Solidarity Fund has:
~ Raised $205,050 from 615 donors
~ Distributed $184,600 to 206 families; each family received $900
~ Helped 853 individuals: 399 adults and 454 children

We’ll continue to share money with families in need until the Fund is depleted.

Fund recipients also share their gratitude:

“I’m very grateful for the generosity of the donors who, without knowing us, put their hands on their heart and nobly decided to help. Thank you for helping us overcome this dark period with the beautiful light of your kindness. May God bless you forever.”

“On behalf of my family, I want to thank everyone for helping us through this difficult moment. We were behind on our bills because my husband and I have been unemployed since mid-March because of Covid-19. Thank you so much for this donation to help us pay our bills.”

The Chatham Solidarity Fund is a partnership among 7 Chatham nonprofits with support from the Chatham Health Alliance. The goal was to provide financial relief for families impacted by Covid-19 and who did not qualify for the federal stimulus checks or unemployment benefits.
