The Town of Siler City didn’t approve our $6,000 request to help us reopen El Vínculo. The Town Manager, Bryan Thompson (bthompson@silercity.org or 919-742-2323), explained that the town did not have funds for this purpose this year. We are disappointed with the commissioners’ decision, but are very grateful to all of you who came to the commissioners’ meeting, sent emails or called the town on our behalf.
